Our mission is simple yet profound: to unite people through the art and culture of tango.
Our dream started in the darkest of time - the pandemic. We took decades of our artistic experience and brought it outdoors to share with our communities - teaching dance, music and painting to children and creating the first public performances in NYC - all at no cost to participants and in the spirit of gratitude. Since then, we haven’t stopped creating and presenting innovative performance programs that combine music, dance, poetry, visual arts, cinema, education and audience participation and with which we reached over 25,000 audience members and employed more than 50 artists who performed and taught our programs and launched The New York Tango Festival: PIAZZOLLA100.
Today, funding cuts threaten small organizations like ours that champion cross-cultural collaboration, amplify immigrant voices, and make live performing arts accessible and transformative for our communities. Today we ask for your generosity.
If you believe in collaboration, in giving everyone a voice, and creating an artistic legacy for the future, please donate today and all of December.
Your tax-deductible support can make a true difference.
Thank you!
