Opening night Concert features 2xLatin GRAMMY nominated Cuartetango with GRAMMY-winning bandoneonist, Rodolo Zanetti and repertoire from Gardel and Le Pera to Piazzolla. This special evening concludes with Cuartetango in "The Rites of Love," a new sting quartet composition with poetry by L. Suarez-Paz, which celebrates the freedom of expression.

Leonardo Suarez-Paz returns to Lincoln Center with his award-winning program, PIAZZOLLA100, featuring music from the golden age to Piazzolla & Suarez-Paz, Nuevo Tango Ensemble, Grammy nominated and winning musicians and dancers. Journey through the history of tango, charting its golden age in the 1940s and 1950s to the present-day nuevo tango renaissance. The evening's performance will featuring the works of our namesake Astor Piazzolla, Carlos di Sarli, Aníbal Troilo, Horacio Salgán, Osvaldo Pugliese, and Suarez-Paz. DJ María José Sosa Pre-concert dance class with Olga Suarez-Paz and members of Nuevo Tango Ballet.
